By accessing or using AltairPath (the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone else who accesses or uses the Service.

AltairPath is an AI-powered career intelligence platform designed to help professionals discover matched jobs, track applications, analyze job fit, prepare for interviews, and manage their career pipeline. The Service includes, but is not limited to: • Job discovery and multi-source search aggregation with AI-powered match scoring • Application tracking and pipeline management • AI-driven job analysis and resume tailoring • Interview coaching and preparation tools • Market intelligence and salary insights • Career coaching recommendations Jobs displayed through the discovery feature are sourced from third-party partners (such as Jooble, Adzuna, and Careerjet). AltairPath is not responsible for fraudulent listings, phishing attempts, or outdated job posts originating from third-party networks. Users are strongly advised to independently verify the legitimacy of any employer before sharing sensitive personal details. We do not control, verify, or endorse these listings, and you access and apply to third-party links entirely at your own risk. The Service is provided "as-is" and AltairPath reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration • Maintain and promptly update your account information • Keep your password confidential and not share it with any third party • Notify AltairPath immediately of any unauthorized use of your account • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account AltairPath reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

AltairPath offers both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to: • Pay the applicable subscription fees as described on our Pricing page • Authorize AltairPath to charge your payment method on a recurring basis • Accept that all subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (including statutory right-of-withdrawal periods for residents of certain jurisdictions) or as expressly set forth in our Refund Policy You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. AltairPath reserves the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Sprint Pass purchases are single-use, time-limited access grants and are non-refundable once activated.

By using AltairPath, you acknowledge and consent to the following data practices: • Your job application data, resume content, and career profile information are stored securely and used to power the AI features of the Service. • AltairPath may use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve platform performance, train models, and generate market insights. At no point is personally identifiable information shared with third parties in identifiable form. • We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your individual job application details, resume, or identity with employers, recruiters, or any external parties without your explicit consent. • AI-generated content (interview questions, resume suggestions, match scores) is for guidance only and does not constitute professional career or legal advice.

You agree not to use the Service to: • Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, collect, or extract data from the Service without prior written consent • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any component of the Service • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation • Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms AltairPath reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of this section without notice.

All underlying infrastructure, features, and functionality of the Service - including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, AI models, algorithms, and software - are the exclusive property of AltairPath and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your career management purposes. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AltairPath assigns to you all its rights, title, and interest (if any) in and to the specific text outputs generated for you by the Service (e.g., tailored resumes, cover letters, custom interview responses). You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AltairPath, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses - including reasonable legal and accounting fees - arising out of or in any way connected with: • Your access to or use of the Service • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions • Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights • Any career decisions, job applications, or employment actions you take based on the Service's recommendations or AI outputs.

ALTAIRPATH IS NOT A RECRUITMENT AGENCY, EMPLOYER, OR JOB PLACEMENT SERVICE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL SECURE A JOB, RECEIVE AN OFFER, OR GET INTERVIEWS BY USING THE SERVICE. ALL AI-GENERATED RECOMMENDATIONS, TAILORED RESUMES, COVER LETTERS, AND INTERVIEW ANSWERS ARE GUIDELINES ONLY. Certain features rely on third-party AI infrastructure and API availability. AltairPath does not warrant uninterrupted uptime of AI-generated services. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALTAIRPATH, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES - INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES - ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL ALTAIRPATH'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS OF ANY KIND EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ALTAIRPATH IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

AltairPath reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas (or your home state as required by law), without regard to conflict of law provisions. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SECTION CAREFULLY. IT CONTAINS A MANDATORY ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER: Mandatory Arbitration: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in the United States, or you may choose to proceed virtually or by telephone. Class Action Waiver: YOU AND ALTAIRPATH AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE, OR CONSOLIDATED PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any class or representative action. Arbitration Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of this mandatory arbitration provision within thirty (30) days of creating your account by sending a clear email notice of your decision to opt-out to [email protected], stating your full name and the email address associated with your account. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
